Cannon fire menaces the adventurers traveling in the thrilling river ride, a popular attraction featuring prehistoric beasts, earthquakes, falling boulders, Indian warfare, magical caves, narrow escapes and an ultimate safe return to civilization. The River of Legends ride was renamed Cochise's Stronghold river ride in the mid-'60s, and ultimately became Adventure River in the early '80s.
